WALK TO DEFEAT ALS – OCTOBER 05, 2014
The ALS Association was established in 1985 as the only national non-profit organization fighting Lou Gehrig ’s disease on every front. The nationwide network of chapters provides comprehensive patient services and support to the ALS community. The mission of the ALS Association is to lead the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy, while also empowering people with Lou Gehrig’s Disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support.
Our volunteers were able to assist with many aspects of the Northern Ohio Chapters “Walk to Defeat ALS”. Assistance was given with setting up, taking down, organization, kid’s activities, parking and anywhere else needed. Lots of associates showed up ready and willing to assist in any way possible from beginning to end. A great time was had by all.
